As a sailing fleet member, you are entitled to a 50% discount for your first year of sailing school.
Before Sailing Fleet members may take out a dinghy class boat unsupervised, each must have passed either their White Sail level III (three) or a proficiency exam given by one of our club instructors. There is a $40 fee for the proficiency exam. Before a keel boat may be taken out additional sailing experience is required and your sailing resume must be discussed with the Fleet Captain or Sailing School manager.
While the fees for keel fleet are the same a damage deposit is required for the keel fleet boats. Fleet members are expected to help maintain the boats in terms of cleaning and minor repairs.
Dinghy Class Fleet Membership is $400.00 plus HST (7% for year ending Sept 30,2010) for a total of $428.00 plus a proficiency examine if needed.
Keelboat Fleet Membership is $400.00 plus HST for a total of $428.00 plus a sailing resume and damage deposit.
Canoe Fleet Membership is $350.00 plus HST for a total of $374.50 plus crew memberships for each guest paddler.
Members must supply their own PFDs and paddles.
