2nd Island Race

TSCC Toronto Island Race and BBQ
TSCC members,
On Saturday September 19 we're having a Past the Island Race & BBQ - one of the last sailing events of our season.   It will be a fun, casual event that everyone will enjoy - no need to know anything about racing rules or have experience racing.
Here's what's happening:
(Times to be confirmed if changed from below)
Registration 10:AM- 10:45AM: $5.00 per boat includes one BBQ ticket.
Extra BBQ tickets can be bought (before the event) for $5 a ticket.
Skippers'meeting 11:00- 11:15AM Tom Wharton will give the instructions at the skippers'meeting.
First Warning Signal 12:00.
All other boats entered will have start number one.
The wayfarers will have start number two.

BBQ after the race ends late afternoon - burgers, dogs, salads, corn.

This link takes you to the final public presentation of the Western Waterfront Draft Master Plan held on February 19th, 2009.
The planning study now goes before Toronto City Council for approval in April of 2009.
