General Meeting of Members – February 26, 2018 – 7:00 p.m.
A general meeting of members will be held on February 26, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the TS&CC Club House. The meeting’s business will include approval of the 2018 budget. More information, including the agenda and form of proxy, will follow in the near future.
All members are welcome and encouraged to attend the meeting. A fully-paid Senior Member is entitled to one vote at the meeting. Any Senior Member who will not be attending may be represented at the meeting by granting their proxy to another Senior Member.

Repair the damaged skirts for the docks, for installation next weekend.
This is also an available work hours project, if anyone would like to put some hours in over the winter to complete this task, please contact email@example.com. The skirts are already sorted, and on the patio waiting repairs.
Install all of the dock skirting on the East and West Docks.
If volunteers are needed, we can change this to a member event, and have people sign up, like the work weekends are setup.
Clean up debris in Dry sail parking lot along the concrete retaining walls, around the dry sail crane, and around the dumpsters. Clean up the back of the Center Parking lot, remove any boats not participating in the Ice Breaker Regatta, all cradles to be in storage by end of day. Rake lawns

The Canadian Olympic Classes regatta takes place on the Saturday & Sunday of the May long weekend.
More correctly known as the Canadian Olympic Classes Regatta, the Ice Breaker has been held at TS&CC on the May long weekend every year since 1970. Lasers, 420s, 49ers and more compete on Lake Ontario in this first event of the season.

AHMEN RACING is a series of six Saturday or Sunday races, which begins on August 12, 2018 and is completed on September 30, 2018.
Celebrating its 14th anniversary, the Toronto International Outrigger Challenge attracts competitive paddlers of all types – outrigger canoe, stand-up paddling (SUP) and kayak/surfski – for a full weekend of exciting racing and socializing.
The races begin at the Toronto Sailing and Canoe Club (TS&CC), circle around the beautiful Toronto Island and harbor - with majestic views of the skyline and CN Tower - and end back at the TS&CC. Each year of races finishes up with delicious food at a jam-packed luau.
The TIOC is a world class event with 130+ paddlers. Please join us for 5km for new paddlers, 17km, 23km and 5km races. All are welcome, including spectators!
