Why race and how to get started
Racing is a great way to spend more time on the water, improve your sailing skills, and get to know fellow sailors from TS&CC and other clubs.
We have an active club racing program, and many current racers are happy to help new participants get started. All members can participate – whether racing their own boats or crewing for others. No experience is necessary and all events are free.
To learn more about racing you can:
Regular races
- Tuesday Night Race Series. Run by the Boulevard Club weekly from late May to mid-September, open to TS&CC members.
- Thursday Night Race Series. Run by TS&CC weekly from late May to mid-September, open to Boulevard Club members.
- Women’s Helm Race Series. Held on select Thursday race nights. Teams of any composition can compete in Thursday races, but to be scored in the Women's Helm event a boat's skipper and at least half its crew must be women.
- Ahmen Race Series. Eight races on weekend days throughout the season, co-hosted by clubs around Humber Bay.
Annual races

Bark at the Moon Race. A night race in early June, open to sailors and paddlers.
- See the Island Race. A fun late July event followed by a barbecue.
