Why race and how to get started
Racing is a great way to spend more time on the water, improve your sailing skills, and get to know fellow sailors from TS&CC and other clubs.
We have an active club racing program, and many current racers are happy to help new participants get started. All members can participate – whether racing their own boats or crewing for others. No experience is necessary and all events are free.
To learn more about racing you can:
Regular races - Tuesday and Thursday evenings
- First gun is at 6:30pm every week until mid-August when it is moved to 6:00pm to take into account the earlier sunsets. The last race of the season is Thursday September 11.
- As with all races - don't forget that the kitchen and the bar will be open, so you can enjoy good food and a pleasant social time on dry land once your race is finished!
